The owner of this boutique home cleaning business desired a simple, clean and fresh aesthetic for her logo and some assistance in naming the company.
By extending the same adjectives she specified to guide the logo development to also direct the process of honing in on a suitable company name, the dilemma was solved. The straightforward single syllables of "neat" and "clean" aligned perfectly with the creative brief and her end users desires.
As a small boutique home-care business built primarily on referrals, Neat & Clean relies on the business card to act as its ambassador to garner clientele.
It was therefore essential that this print touch point fully embody the essence of what makes Neat & Clean unique - simple, straightforward orderliness with a personable tenor and fresh aesthetic.
The website development for Neat & Clean integrated the established brand essence into the visual design and its architecture. Extending the boutique home-care service experience in a digital touch point was achieved through an easy to use and responsive website design. Concise yet conversational content, regionally and industry specific images, along with custom icons assisted in creating a unique experience for potential and current clients.

This hand lettered illustration synthesizes my affinity for the craft of hand lettering, ambigrams and my fascination with the intricacy of design and stories found in many of the Illuminated letters showcased in manuscripts and books from the Medieval time period.

A tribute to my own mother, this hand lettered design celebrates the duality of both the simplicity and complexity of maternal love. The intricate swashes create the edges of the heart shape, while the vertically stacked word "MOM" sits at the core of the heart. Much like so many mom's do in our own hearts.
